Subject: New to boards - Just saying Hi!

Hi everyone! I love reading about everyone's success and seeing all the support here on the message board. I have been going to curves for a little over a month now. At my 1 month measure/weigh in I had lost 4 pounds and 9 inches. I was so excited to actually see something working for me. In the beginning I was doing low fat/low calorie without seeing any movement on the scale so within the last 2 weeks have switched to high protein/low carb dieting (and no sugar). This a.m. I got on my scale and was up 4 pounds from last Sunday. I went to curves 3x this week and was very faithful on the food and drank lots of water. This is what has been happening to me since the beginning of December when I began dieting and exercising at home. I was hopeful that curves would break this cycle of loose then gain....loose then gain. Basically I have been working very hard and not making any progress. I guess the positive would be that I have not gained any additional weight. I want to loose about 45 pounds and it feels like I will never get there! I am commited to sticking with this so that I will reach my goal but I can't help but be discourged since I appear to be taking 2 steps forward to only then take 2 steps backwards,
