Three times a week is what Curves International recommends, mostly because the circuit includes strength training. It's safe to do purely aerobic excercise every day, but your muscles need a day to rest in between strenth training.
-Your walking to Curves is wonderful, especially if you're getting your heart rate up.
-Stretching excercises are great, too.
It's OK to go more than 3 times a week, just make sure that you alternate "easy" days where you don't work so hard on the machines. The intensity of your workout should usually be on the machines, but if you're going 5 days a week, take it easy for two of the days.
-If you find that you still have tons of energy when you've finished the circuit, try moving faster (and therefore working harder) on the machines. When my 30 minutes are up, I'm exhausted!
