Newbie with many questions

Here it goes! I am 40 years old, living in Canada. Over the past year I have gained 60 pounds (from a dramatic weight loss a few years ago). I am now separated, my mom passed away at Christmas so I've really gone into a dark area of life.
I need to know how well this program works. How long does it take until you see results, both mirror/clothing fit.
If I keep eating out of depression I will surely gain another 60 pounds by year end.
I eat when I'm sad and then sad when I eat
