GO TO Curves, go directly to Curves, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

First and foremost, no program works unless you want it to....Second, in order to lose weight, you must exercise and watch what you eat (you don't necessarily need to follow a diet but something as simple as watching portion sizes can help you shed the pounds!).

Third, and I don't think I'm alone in this thought, but Curves is quite possibly one of the best places on earth. I joined almost 9 months ago and while I wasn't as leery about it as some ladies I'm sure am (with good reason, we all know ourselves!) In 9 months time, I've lost 29.25 inches and 19 pounds. Yes, I have been dieting but only for the last two months! most of those inches came off before that. So I've got about 60 more pounds to lose and I know that Curves will be my key.

First it's fast....3 times a week, 30 minutes each and you are done. Some ladies go more often, some add walking on the in between days, but that's only if you want to. I've personally found that 3 times a week gives me better results than going more often, but we are all different and you might benefit from 4 or 5 times a week.

Second it's easy....the machines are hydraulic resistence, not weights, so you go at the pace that you can and don't have to count reps because you spend 30 seconds on each station (machine or recovery station where you just walk in place or the like). You also don't really have to think about what you are doing...I mean, you need to be sure to keep good form, but that's it!

Third, it's fun. I really enjoy my club. The gals that work there play games with us a lot, there are different "challenges" from time to time to keep you motivated. And the members are all great. I mean, if you don't want to chat, you don't have to, but you're sure to find someone else who does if you want to :) And there is SO much support. both in your weight loss goals but also in personal life if so desired...and it's a great place to network if you don't find what you want there, I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction!

I would imagine that it would lift your spirits and curb your eating. And it's worth a try right? Call the closest club and get an appointment...it will be worth your while....

Let us know what you decide :)
