Subject: Is there anyone else who does NOT get results from a low-carb diet?

I've done low and no carb in the past but except for a few fluid pounds I lost nothing. I know I was doing it right(I had the urine strips). It seems for men and the women who carry their weight like men(in the abdomen) this is a good diet. For women like me who carry their weight in their hips and thighs it's not the wonderful diet it's made out to be.

I'm new to Curves and loving it so far. Is there anyone pear-shaped who has had good results? Has it been slow coming off?
