I'm not an owner and I don't have my contract handy, but I prepaid because I got a 20% discount on the CD price which was a good deal for me, and I was able to put it on plastic which was important at that time...I could easily do the check draft now, but I wasn't settled into my budget at that point in time. As for the traveling, the only plan that can't do that is the Month to Month. But I'll have to review my contract to see about the price raising thing. that's interesting and I would have not thought of that.

I will say, not ALL Curves offer the discount for prepay. the club my sister joined did not offer that special, but the one my sister-in-law joined did AND i got a free t-shirt from that club as well....which I thought was neat :)

I would LOVE to lock in a price, just hadn't thought about it.
