Before I joined Curves 1 1/2 years ago, I lost 20 pounds just by changing jobs from a sedentary to a very physically active job. Then I joined Curves. I did the exercise faithfully, tried to eat a little more healthy, and kinda watched my portions. I lost another 40 pounds. I did not make any big changes in my diet.

Because I lost my job, I am exercising at the Army base because it is free. (We are retired military) I will probably return to Curves.

I do about 12-13 machines and then the treadmill for 45 minutes. I still eat as I always have and I have lost a few more pounds. I do not really need to lose any more. If I do lose about 10 more pounds it will still be okay. I think physical activity will bring about better and more long lasting results, provided you continue with the physcial activity.
