I joined in September 2001. I have had amazing results. Curves literally saved my life. However, I have to admit I did get a little bored after a year. I had met my goals; but, I kept going because it was close to my house and I had made a lot of friends at Curves.

Then in December my husband lost his job and I have been looking for work also. I had to quit Curves and go to a full service gym on the Army base because it is free for retired military.

The gym is crowded and impersonal. It is a good workout and my workout can be varied each day. I miss my fitness family at Curves.

When I get a job, I will probably combine the gym and Curves to keep from getting bored

Curves is a great place to begin. Hope you find success. It will work for you if you give it a good workout. Many people have lost their desired weight with only doing the exercise.
