Hi there!

I might suggest that you consider Sugar Busters. This is NOT a low carb plan. It is a "correct carb" plan. It requires you to choose carbs which are proper for your body, such as fruits, veggies, whole grains, even dairy products and avoid added sugars. You are asked to replace white potatoes, white bread and white rice with yams, whole wheat/whole grain breads and wild or brown rice. I have not lost a TREMENDOUS amount of weight, but I can tell you that I feel terrific, eat well and have at least lost some.

I have joined Curves in the hopes that I will boost my apparently VERY sluggish metabolism. I am very optimistic about seeing some results - I just started there last week.

It is a very good summary of the program - but if you think you may want to give it a serious try, you will probably want to buy the book. You can get it on ebay quite inexpensively...
