A few years ago a simillar thing happened to me. We had a smell of fish in our bedroom too.

It turned out to be a couple of bedside lamps that we had brought when we moved into the house. The heat from the lightbulbs was heating the glue in the lampshades which created the fish smell.

Chances are your smell is caused by something simillar.

Always look for the natural cause.

Chances are that will be it.
