in june 2005 my 14 year old daughter and i stayed at coppice hotel torquay.everything seemed fine, pretty room and fabulous weather, so no worries or eerie feelings.on the first night.something woke me,i looked and at the foot of my bed isaw what i first thought was my daughter, then realised it was a younger child.icalled out ashleighs name.and got asleepy mumbled response from her in the bed next to me. then the figure walked between the two beds, really close to me andjust lit up brightly as if in the darkness of the room she was standing in brillisnt sunshine.and icould very clearly see her just watching me as though she wanderered in like a lost childi just stared for a moment, amazed,then just wanted it to disappear but she didnt so like a complete wimp i jumoed over into ashleighs bed and covered my eyes with the quilt. after acouple of minutes i looked and she was gone. i lay awake the whole night and there was moreabout ten minutes later the glossed frame of the cupboard illuminated like neon lighting in the blackness for about 5 minutes and throughout the night i heard sound of achilds running footsteps. upon asking owner following day he had years earlier been told by apsychic of a little girl in the building but hadnt witnessed anything himself. somehow i stayed 3 more nights there but hardly slept although saw nothing again. it still freaks meouteveryday when i think of it.would love someone to explain. ps it was room 15
