This may sound weird...but maybe you should try and talk to them, just ask some yes or no questions out loud even if no one is around. It may feel weird, but keep an open mind and just ask questions. pay attention to things that happen while you are asking. There are other things than ghosts out there, believe me. There are faeries, demons, ghosts, archangels...etc. theres is almost everything. I must tell you this though, if you get a reaction of a bulb breaking or a vase shattering-just anything breaking-dont get scared and ask what they want, you may hear voices. These are real. If you get a reaction of a scent or a shiver even though there are no windows or doors open that is usually a sign that a pleasant spirit may want to talk to you.
I recommend you keep an open mind and ask who they are, how they are, what job they had...like your meeting a person for the first time. They may be flattered.
If you really can't live with these sprits then you should politely ask them to leave. If they don't leave, contact me.

p.s. To tell the truth...I know more than I should. I'm only 12 but I read alot and see alot too. I can feel the prescence of a spirit, I ask them about some things, i ask them to help me with something...sometimes even history class! good resource! Anyway, I may be able to help you with your paranormal, spirit, all those questions that you need to know. Trust me!
