I rented a room for a short while in a friend's house. The house had a resident ghost who committed suicide and had been abused by his parents in the house. There was a plethora of activity later, but in the beginning of my stay, besides feeling the breathing down the neck when walking from his old room to the bathroom, he woke me up one night. It was like my dream was interupted, I heard something like ...are you there? and some mumbled soft speech. I opened one eye and say a figure leaning over and touch my shoulder with one finger. It was soft-(he was apparently homosexual according to the home owner). He then put his finger to his lips like..shhhh..and then vanished before my eyes. I thought I would have a heart attack I was so scared and almost peed my pants! It never happened again, but poltergeist activity in the weeks that followed forced me to move. In college-I rented a flat where I heard a group of male and female voices whispering hurredly that would wake me up and get louder and louder. It seemed threatening and we came home to find the dirty dishes stacked about the kitchen in bizarre ways and decided to move after we inquired to the landlord and discovered a burglary-turned-murder had occured in the apartment. In both cases I was unaware of the history of the space--maybe your place has a history you are unaware of.? Try burning sage and visualizing your bedroom encased in a purple or golden bubble that cannot be penetrated. Sounds stupid but it might help.--P
