Subject: 1964 Dodge M37

$7500 OBO, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Specs: 230 CI flathead six, dodge 8" axles w/5.83 gears (very low and very slow, unstoppable offroad...top speed: 50MPH...granny first gear, not used on the street...2MPH in first 4LO), Higher gears/lockers are available to increase the top speed/traction, there are also V8 conversions available and diesel too. The rims are custom made from Stockton Wheel, Tires 38.5" Swamper Boggers w/1000 miles (maybe) (a set of five!! full size spare a must!!)...the truck has 32,000 original miles, 27,000 when purchased in 1998. I've since converted it to 4-wheel disk brakes, all new brake lines , master cylinder, etc. (an East coast winter long project freezing in the garage!!) and added Superwinch Hubs so the front wheels would roll free. This is a 6,000 lb vehicle with no power steering...so the hubs helped a lot. I added a custom aluminum radiator w/electric fan, electric feul pump, and various other repairs. Replaced many of the seals, and a lot of bolts that were
completely rusted w/grade 5 or 8 bolts. the windshield frames are new and so is the glass (the windows push open forward, and the front winshield frame folds down).
Some not so good things: found fiberglass and some body filler while working on it, some weld-in plates were added...don't know when, or exactly how many. Front fender area under the lights has been repaired with fiberglass, but weld in panels are available (Jeep Panels Plus). Rear fenders are new, but inner fenders in bed need weld repairs. Rear leaf spings need rebuilt....I have another set to combine with the old ones to make a good repair, or new ones are available from Vintage Power Wagons. The engine needs a rebuild...blows some smoke, burning some oil...then again it always has. Runs strong. Most of the original electrical wiring was replaced and patched together when I bought it...I've sinced tried to clean it up, but never bought a new wiring harness though they are available, so it is still "patched" together. The gas gauge has never worked, but a replacement is available from NAPA. I have a few original service/tech manuals that will go with it, and
various odds and ends...seals, rubber, gaskets, carb rebuild kit, drive plates for the front axles (taken off when switched to part-time hubs), mechanical fuel pump, and other parts.
Photos on request.
