Creaking or cracking?

I thought they all creaked where the bulkhead joined on, creaking elswhere is indeed a sign of delamination.

Cracking I would have thought to be more serious.

The 500s did have a bit of a problem with the chainplates pulling off the bulkhead, mainly caused by water ingress weakening the supports.

This is worse in the 500 than the 501 I believe because the bulkhead isn't lined up with the chainplates and there are ofset brackets.

In the 501 the chainplates mount directly on the bulkhead but any water ingress tends to be hidden from view.
