We're doing the east coast/rivers by stages this summer in our TS 240 - our first real expedition. We're quite keen to try "taking the mud" and the east coast seems the ideal place. Any advice from other TS 240's who've done it? Presumably the bulb sinks into the mud and the boat remains more or less upright? Are there any real risks? And if the mud is more of a solid beach, how comfortable is it when resting on the keel bulb at an angle?
