If the 501 rudder bushes are similar to the T300 there is a top & bottom DELRIN bush mounted in a brass/bronze housing. It is the DELRIN that needs replacing. Any competent machine shop can turn these. Star Trapper's bottome bearing currently being replaced by Marine Power at Bursledon. DELRIN looks like everyday nylon but does not expand when wet
