We need to replace the upholstery on our boat. We were thinking of separating the cushions from the plywood bases and holding them in place with velcro. This would allow the covers to be removed for cleaning.

Are there any good reasons not to do this and to stick with the stapled on upholstery?

All opinions most welcome.

Thanks,

Fiona & Robin
