We launched Jessie at Easter on the Broads. Fog, rain, cold, more rain. We had a great time. The Broads is a good place to try out new gear and get to know the boat, so we left her there thinking "we'll go back in a few weeks when it's warmer". So we went this week. This time the rain was almost constant, no fog, just as cold. But ghosting down the rivers under sail seeing marsh harriers and water birds and reeds reflected in the water and the occasional windmill looming through the mist, was just brilliant. And we're well pleased with our new furling genoa and newly hanked rather than luff fed main, and the new Tohatsu 4 stroke. So we left her there again. Maybe next time we'll see the sun too.
