Samara (T500 with 5012 layout) has a leaking water tank! I filled her tank for the first time on Saturday (recently bought her) and found that she managed to slowly empty her tank into the bilge. I guess they benefited from a wash - and it's comfoting to know the bilge pump works.

She has a rectangular water tank mounted athwart ships, under the dinette settee that backs on to the quarter berth. Approx dimensions for the base are 49cm X 70cm. She is shapped to fit to the hull curve, so has a shallow end at 19cm high by the hull (where the filler pipe attaches) and 33cm at the keel end (where there is a seperate exit point in each corner serving the galley and heads taps.

The tank is a Light blue flexible water tank and the Label says "Fresh water tank manufactred by : Air cushion equipment (1976) Ltd, Southampton. She fas one filling point and two exits.

I have extracted her and discovered a leak on the seam, which I have been advised would not be worth repairing. I cannot find a replacement tank from any of the main chandlery's and internet investigations are proving fruitless. I'd go for a smaller tank, but I can't find one 50cm wide....

What are my options? Could I try and fit a plastimo bladder for a 70x70x25 inside and fit a splitter to serve the 2 destinations?
