I agree 13HP is probably about the ideal engine size, but to be honest we never had a problem with our 1GM10 (which is a shade over 8)

The yanmars do fit in well too.

Personally I wouldn't go to the expense of a 2GM20, particularly given how little space there is for a prop without moving the P bracket but you pays your money you take your choices.

The Nanni, the Beta, the Volvo, even the Bukh,they've all been fitted in there. Perhaps one of your guiding principles should be who you have who is going to fit it, they may be more familiar with one sort of engine over another.
