you can adjust the bias on your target log so that it reads correctly. It's a percentage adjustment so it should be accurate for any speed after that.

You can do it by sailing over a measure distance in both directions or when the tide is slack in one, or you can use a gps when the tide is slack.

I can't remember exactly which buttons you press in what order but if nobody here can help contact Nasa.
