Hi John, yes I think she is sea kindly, compare her to the flat bottomed light weight stuff that is on offer, even much bigger yachts, and I know which one I would rather be on. Yes she she does slam to windward, but boy does she go to windward. That lovely V hull tracks well even in a good chop and yes even in some large waves. Heaving To, well that is an interesting point, Pamino heaves to perfectley, just that she faces the wrong way. With a 150% genoa she needs to be played with to have her facing the right way, but as the YM examiner said to me, She has stopped, there is very little drift, you have been able to leave the helm, whats the problem. She is not a long keel but a bloody good compromise. Why didn't they make more of the bigger ones with an aft cabin.
