I think that to say that the T28 is "not ideal for accommodation" is a fair statement judged by todays "family orientated" standards. I cruise mine singlehanded reasonably extensively (well X-Channel and out to the CI) and I find her a great boat .... apart from the space issue. More than 2 up would be less than ideal for any time, 4 up could be a nightmare ..... but on the upside, she powers to windward and sails like a dream. I can plant her alongside any quay (and get her off again) single handed even with a gale blowing on or off due to her low windage and deep underwater profile. Every boat is a compromise and so every individual has to decide where to make those compromises. I compromised on internal space when I brought Blazer 6 years ago, but I think I won out on everything else including price, where else can you buy a 28' yacht capable of offshore sailing for significantly less than £10k !

Best Regards, Brian ('70 T28 "Blazer")
