Perhaps I'm just getting old and cranky but I'll let you decide.

I put a for sale and wanted page up on the website because people suggested it. There was a suggestion that people would contribute something if this made them a sale but I assumed it never has done or somebody would have said.

I was quite pleased to find that my own ad on the website generated several contacts though the guy that got closest to buying came through a commercial website.

These days I quite often get the details of a boat sent to me with no other text at all. No please, thankyou, some times not even a "hi my name is".

Perhaps I've worded the thing on the website incorrectly, I'll consider changing that text when I update it shortly.

I'd have thought, though, that even if people thought this was a commercial venture they would have said something.

It is related, I suppose, to the issue about the guy who pinched the pic of securus off the website to sell his own boat without a by your leave.

Perhaps the world moved on at some point and I got left behind!

Anyway, the good news is that we are experimenting with a new website, and if I'm happy that has a future there won't be a need to send me updates.
