Brian, no guilt neccessary, looking on this site it is obvious from all the correspondence that this subject in particular is a very emotive one. I had Navaho lifted yesterday and she is now one of two Trappers out of the water at Gosport boat yard. What a furry bottom ! This comment could start a whole new forum re anti-fouling !
I have been aware for some time that the sea cocks needed doing, most are seized open, the rest bar one (raw water engine) are seized shut. As you can see, long overdue but living on board does make one reluctant to address issues concerning lift-outs. However, this site has brought about my decision to lift sooner rather than.........
P.S If the existing sea-cocks are good quality and able to be serviced to good working order then I will take that route. I am replacing Nasa thru hulls with Raymarine though.
Regards, Simon.
