Hello all

I'm just learning how a 500 likes to be sailed and her handling characteristics. I would appreciate any hints as to what sail she'll carry in what wind. I was sailing last Sunday with full main and full genoa beating 45-60 degrees in 16-21kts apparent wind with 5-5.8 knts on the log. She wasn't feeling over pressed (actually it was brilliant)but I was starting to think when should I shorten. I've opted for fixed head sails and single line slab reefing. I've got a No.1 genoa, a sizable working jib and a storm jib and 2 reefing points in the main.
