On my T S 240 with I believe the original mast, two us easily lowered the mast. It helps to make up a cockpit support otherwise it rests on the coachroof.
I had made up a system to raise it, but in the event three of us did the job quite easily, one on the forestay and two pushing. I have heard it is possible with two strong men (and no wind) Always be careful of the shroud fittings as they can be bent.
It sounds as if you have a heavier mast but I am not aware of the weight. The correct technique might help also.
There was an article in PBO no. 410 Feb 2001 on trailer sailing including erecting masts which you may find helpful.
I hope this helps
