Thanks very much for that. Another vital piece of the jigsaw. The block and tackle sounds more effective than leading the line back to the sheet winch. We've just made a prop for the transom end. Its 1450mm from the cockpit floor and its height was designed so that the mast would be clear of the coachroof as the pin was inserted. Do you think it should it be higher?
