Hi Ronan,
I keep "Swiftsure" a 1979 T500 in Kinsale. Ive had years of great sailing in the west! My only comment is the usefullness of the old roller boom as a sail tidy! I have reefing lines since I bought the boat as I recognise that the boom roller reef is inifficient. For 3 seasons I made no use of the roller boom. My big problem was trying to tidy the sail when solo. Solution: put a quick disconnect on the Cunningham and wind the sail onto the boom as you drop it! It works a treat and a number of people have remarked at the efficiency of the system. I would hate to loose it at this stage!

Regards,
Ted
