Frank, let me give you a clue:

Sula had a Starboard steering bias when she had a Yanmar Yse8, now she has a GM13 she has a Port bias!

Yep, its nothing more than Propwalk and is caused by centifugal forces from the engine and propellor, so you just have to live with it and let your autohelm do the steering while you tidy away or whatever.

As for changing the aspect ratio of the rudder you would need to REDUCE the ratio or move the pivot line back by about 2ins as Poul did

one mod could be to fit a thin s/s fairing on the straight part of the leading edge of the rudder giving a clearance of about 1 inch between rudder and fairing ...thus approx 20sq ins of additional surface forward of the pivot line
