a 14 inch prop is an excellent way to make a hole in your boat! 12 INCHES IS MAXIMUM! and you havent got enough distance from the rudder to move the prop back to take a 14!

Adding an inch to the leading edge wont take you any where near 16.66% forward of the leading edge, and Im curious as to what Nicholsons base that statement on, I would have put the figure somewhere nearer to 25% before things started getting tricky.

if you do have a 12 inch prop it would appear that you have a shorter than normal P bracket
