I had the exact same problem when I bought Booby Trapper last year. so out with the gas, giving more space in the cockpit locker. I purchased an origo 3000 it fitted in the space left by the gas cooker almost exactly. Gimbals and pot holders were a bit expensive. I have found it excellent for my needs. Very easy to use, the trick to lighting it is to get a long nosed gas lighter that will fit right down inside the flame bit, push it in till it almost touches the fuel container. It also works safely as a cabin heater in winter with no poisonous fumes. Denatured alchohol is not available in the UK so we have to put up with meths, its the same stuff with dye and something to make it taste real bad added. You can get very light coloured meths in this country which does smell slightly less than the purple stuff. B&Q sell it it in 500ml bottles.
