Hi Jeff,I have the same boat, (500 with 501 interior) and from what I have seen the wiring tends to follow the manual. What is the fault with your wiring? The original wiring seems to have been done in houshold twin sheathed single core 1mm2 and by this time, most connections have become corroded.
