Sorry about your bad experience, Brian, good luck that your marina kept an eye on things for you and could notice that Blazer was down on her marks. This is always a nightmare scenario for those of us forced to leave our boats for any length of time.

I'm off-thread here as I cannot comment on your Autohelm question, and forgive me for asking the obvious, but I suppose you did do a taste check that it is water from below and not above? I guess it could not have rained that much in 2 weeks (unless the monsoons have changed their geographical coordinates or a neighbour left a hose running onto your deck) so it is rather a silly question, but I did once have a regular and severe inundation into my T500 from a bit of shabby bonding in the anchor locker that channeled a considerable amount of rainwater below from the rim of the anchor locker lid - it took years to track it down.
