Subject: radical hyster

I am scheduled for a radical abdominal hysterectomy on July 11th. I am 40 yrs old and am scared to death about the long term effects and the sexual consequences of loosing my ovaries. I have endometrial cancer and the oncologist thinks my ovaries should come out or I risk a 15 % chance of the cancer returning. I am reading about increased risk of heart attack, vaginal dryness, loss of libido, and Vaginal ATROPHY! Has anyone had their ovaries removed. What were the immediate and long term side effects. Do I risk keeping them?
