Hi, Maya, I remember you! I remember my gyno saying that the breast tenderness and swelling is because the breasts are reacting to the estrogen and becoming "young" again. I don't know if this is good or bad. I would never deny a woman her hormones, but it is something to think about and be aware of when you start it, and it's good you are asking questions. My sister does natural hormone replacement. Her doctor prescribes bi-est cream which is a plant based estrogen. She also uses a natural progesterone cream. I don't know what you have access to in that part of Europe. Such things maybe more accesible here in the states. If it does make you feel better, go for it, but watch your breasts for changes. kb PS Congratulations on quitting smoking!
