Patti, the gyno thought I had adenomyosis, but the path. report showed negative on that. Basically, your uterine wall becomes trapped in folds after contracting after child birth. I don't know what ever happened for Jayne, but I hope she was able to keep one of her ovaries.

My suggestion is whenever possible, to keep both or at least one ovary. They've found that the ovaries keep secreting hormones, even after menopause. My gyno wanted to take mine when I had my hyst. at age 46 (6 years ago), and I told him, Leave them if they are healthy. They were healthy and he left them. They scare you with ovarian cancer, but what about breast cancer from hrt? This is your body, and you have to pray about it and make the best decisions you can. Never easy, but trust God to guide you. kb
