Goodness, I have NEVER heard of a doctor saying it's ok to return to work so soon.
It's usually always at least 4-6 weeks.
You still have a lot of healing taking place internally, don't return until your feeling ready and fit enough.
For the first 4-5 weeks, you should not lift over 5 kilo, nor should you stretch, push or pull straining the abdominal area.
Take it easy and rest until your ready for resuming work.
