Subject: Insomnia after hysterectomy

Hi ladies....how is everyone doing?

It has been a week since I had my invasive hysterectomy and like everyone else I am having a lot of pain, but I guess in time it will subside.

My question is, since my surgery I have had insomnia and it does not look like it is getting any better. Is this something others have experienced and if so what did you do to combat it as it is really annoyingbeing up all of the time. I have tried meds from my doctor, but they are only lasting about 2-3 hours.

Any ideas or suggestions on this?
