Subject: Have any of you all heard about the CA125 blood test for ovarian cancer

Hi all I was wondering in any of you all have heard of the CA125 blood test for testing risk of ovarain cancer? I seen my Gyn yesterday to get my stiches from my recent (Total Abdominal Hysterectomy) and she told me she ran that test on me before my surgery and my level was elevated so I now have to have the blood test done again to see if it is still elevated. I am scared about it. I know they took my ovarys out with my surgery but I still am concerned about cancer. Thanks from Bernadette
