>Hi Sue and all my friends of hysterectomy forum. I am 3 weeks post surgery today and am on antibiotics for a bladder infection and also had to be treated for a yeast infection. My gyn gave me diflucan it is one dose pill that helps yeast infections. Another thing that helps is eating a lot of yogurt or take acidophilus tablets available at health food stores. There is also a medication for thrush that my doctor gave me one time it is call nystatin rinse that you have to gargle with then swallow and it is supposed to help get rid of thrush (which is also a form of yeast infection that settles in the mouth). I see my gyn next week for my 1 month check up I hope all will be better with my UTI by then and I'll be able to get cleared to be able to take a tub bath instead of showers. My recuperation has been slow and the fatigue has really gotten me down. Hope all is well with everyone else out there. Always from Bernie
