I thought things would get better but instead in my situation mine got worse. I am having to take hormones now that I no longer have my ovaries. I just started and it has gone ok. My recuperation has been ok, the first few weeks it was hard but it got better. I went for my 4 week checkup this past Wednesday and my gyn was so surprised on how well I healed. I have a lot of other health problems so they thought it would take me longer to get better after surgery. But it went the opposite way. So hang in there with your desicion on whether to have a hysterectomy or not. It was a right one for me because I wasn't getting better. Keep us posted on what you decide. from Bernie S
