Jayne: good luck with your ultrasound. I had an ultrasound done 3 weeks before my surgery. They did both kinds of ultrasounds where they have you have a full bladder then they do the ultrasound from the outisde. Then I had to have a transvaginal ultrasound from the inside. That was quite uncomfortable but it showed a lot more than just the outside one does. Promenterium is a hormone ? I was on provera every month to kick start my periods because I wouldn's get a period but every 3-4 months and it would be horrible. I am glad that is all behind me now.Our bodies tell us when we need to go to see a doctor. Like I told you before I put my surgery off for 5 years because I wasn't ready to take such a huge step. Now I feel somewhat releived that it is all behind me and now I am going through menopause at 41. I've had hot flashes and some depression I am on hormones premarin (orally)now. Hopefully it will help the hot flashes. Well Jayne take care and good luck with your ultrasound keep me posted on how you are doing. I am glad that there is a forum like this for women who are going through the same medical problems and with questions on what to do. from Bernie
