Hi Jayne,
Has your doctor ever mentioned having a *helicobacter pylori* test. It's a simple blood test or breath test.
I had this bacterial infection for years not knowing, the symptoms are similar to many other condtitions, bloating, pain, feeling like someone is sitting on your stomach, etc etc. Once found, specific antibiotics kill it in no time.
Definitely worth asking for the test.
