It's been eight weeks since my hyst. Whilst my good ovary was saved, I'm starting to feel a bit hormonal (irritable and a bit of depression. My doctor said the surviving ovary would compensate for the loss of the removed one that had a large cyst on it. Is this reaction normal post-op? Or is it a sign that my surviving ovary is struggling a bit? I am not taking anything because I was left with one ovary. Did anyone else go through this?? I thought i'd left the up and down days of my cycle behind me by having a hyst.!
