Karly, it is understandable that you are nervous, and it's ok. You are going into uncharted territory for you.
I didn't have an abdominal, but Jill who runs the board did. Your recovery time will be a little slower, but just take it easy. Don't eat too quickly after surgery as this can lead to gas. Don't be complusive about having to clean house, sweep, vacuummn, or anything like that. It would be good if you had someone to help you the first days you are home. Can someone help you out at home?

My prayer for you is that you will find peace with your decision and find a new, healthier life after surger.
