Demons communicate with what's called "thought forms".

Like arrows being shot at your mind, and these arrow tips are poisoned. This poison is negative ideas that slowly destroy confidence. Introduced into the mind is self doubt, guilt, self loathing, thoughts of worthlessness, hopelessness, and other ideas that result in a deep dark depression and a desire to flee from God's presence because of feelings of unworthiness.

Once an arrow has penetrated the mind, it's like a tentacle connected to the demon's intellect that allows it to hear your every thought. Once the demon has gained access to your every thought, it has every advantage over you and your life. Because it knows your every thought, it can work against you in a very effective manner to bring ruin upon you.

When a demon has gained this advantage over you, only another person has the ability to free you. Another person has to take a spiritual key and unlock the shackles around your wrists behind your back.

Angels operate in a different way.
