Subject: March 29th in Granbury

We have been invited to accompany the Ladies of the H.B. Granbury Chapter, UDC, with their float in the parade for General Granbury's birthday on March 29.

For those coming from Ft. Worth, take the 377 bypass in Granbury (do not take the exit to downtown, for it will all be blocked off at the square. Go to the Highway 144 for Glen Rose. Take this exit, and go right all the way to the intersection with Pearl Street. It will be easy to find, for the school administration parking lot will be on the other side of Pearl street. That is where we will park and gather, and there'll be a gaggle of floats and folks gathered there already.

We will need to line up and be present at 9:00 am, with the parade starting at 10:00 am. Afterwards, we will eat and then have our annual trek to the Granbury cemetery where we will fire vollied over the grave of the General, and of Major John Formwalt of Co.I, 10th Texas Infantry.

I hope to see you there!
