Many thanks are in order for the men of the OCG Mounted Patrol. It is unfortunate that the weather had such an impact on the performance of the attendees. Had not the weather been against us, the usual and precise addition of the mounted unit (Cav) would have been performed with honor and dignity. It is a shame that the service took longer than anticipated and that the horses were not able to stay in motion to ward off the wet and cold. I tip my hat to you troopers for being there. It always adds a touch of reality to the efforts of the OCG in honoring our fallen comrades. All we can ask of the members of the OCG is to bear with us and make every movement and gesture that we do an honor to those who have gone before us.
Again, thanks to the Cav and Capt. Tierce for being there.
